So long dyndns, and thanks for all the fish
I've used Dyndns's free dynamic dns service for years now. Granted, in recent times they have made it progressively more difficult to use the free service. I suppose they want to get paid. I've now been notified that tomorrow they will stop the free service altogether. Oh well - plenty more free dns providers in the sea - at least I hope so. A quick Google found me www.noip.com - so this evening I switched over. All seems well so far.
Anyway - Dyndns were early players in this game, back in a time when the Internet was a different place. Much kudos to them for providing this service over the years. I suppose eventually commercial interest had to come to the fore, but we had a good run. Thanks Dyndns.
